A poultry slaughterhouse specializing in waterfowl (ducks and geese) since the 1980s, CHEVALIER Maurice is, above all, a family story for 5 generations.

Located in Mayenne in the heart of the agricultural production basin of the Pays de la Loire, our department offers an ideal climate and conditions for duck farming.

For more than 50 years, the company has devoted its expertise and know-how to producing quality products for food service professionals (restaurants, caterers, butchers, etc.) in France and abroad.

We market a wide range of products:

  • Whole pieces, cut (breast and thigh), special cuts
  • Traditional or Halal poultry
  • Fresh or frozen

Created in October 2022, CHEVALIER Gastronomie is a poultry processing workshop that allows us to offer a broad and complete range of processed duck-based products.

The company stands out in 3 workshops:

  • SMOKING: Cooked and smoked duck breast
  • COOKING:
    • STEWED: thigh, drumstick, gizzard
    • PULLED
  • CHARCUTERIE: Rillettes, sausage, marinated products
    • STUFFED: Roasts, whole stuffed pieces
